Design Build
Gamewell Mechanical has executed projects during our 40 years in the Mechanical Contracting under a Design Build basis. These projects have been successfully completed to benefit the Owners, Construction Managers, Engineers and Contractors involved. Gamewell Mechanical's experience has shown that for the Design Build effort to be successful it must be a TEAM approach and all members must actively participate in the project from start to finish.
Design Build Process includes:
. Develop Project Team
. Client/Owner Representative provides Design Basis or Criteria to Team
. With Design Criteria, Team works to determines path forward for scope and schedule to meet project budget.
. Team meets to review design progress and reviews how team decision on scope of work will impact budget and schedule. This can be as often as weekly.
. Evaluate cost and schedule impacts prior to proceeding further with design documents
. Issue Final Design
. Build Project as Design to meet schedule and budget.
